Taber abrasion tester is suitable for fabrics, paper, coatings, plywood, leather, floor tiles, glass, natural plastics, etc. The test method involves a rotating specimen supported by a pair of wear wheels and subjected to a specified load. When the specimen rotates, the wear wheels are driven to wear the specimen. The weight loss due to wear is the difference in weight between the specimen before and after the test.
